Nerikomi Bowl No. 254
Ø 10.0” x 3.0” h. Stoneware with clear glaze interior and unfinished outer surface & edge.
This unique piece, our largest bowl, combines several processes into a new form. Nerikomi fragments too small to be used again in any semblance of their original pattern are hand-shaved and then combined with a white slip to create a new pattern that is then pressed into a sheet then formed to the shape. These rare pieces are typically made at the end of a production run to utilize all remaining pattern remnants.
Food-safe and dishwasher-friendly.
