DINNERWARE

All pieces are hand-formed from stoneware or porcelain, typically tinted with multiple mason stains, and finished with clear glaze on the interior. Exterior surfaces are left unglazed to enhance the natural feel of the clay. Our clear glaze is lead-free and food-safe, and we use ours daily.

All Slush Club pieces are dishwasher- and microwave-friendly. Our dinnerware may be placed in the oven for short spans of time at low temperatures (for warming at or below 200 degrees Fahrenheit) but should not be used for baking.  

As each piece is handmade, dimensions—listed in inches, diameter x height—are always approximate; each piece varies slightly in both size and finish. Due to the nature of integrating multiple clay bodies into a single form, warping in individual pieces is native to the process. We make every attempt to design pieces that will sit flat on a surface and nest comfortably with one another, yet minor variations are common, anticipated, and sometimes welcome. Our products are produced in limited runs to minimize excess inventory. Whenever possible, clay is recycled.

Given the limited production runs of our collections, we are unable to accommodate requests for specific patterns for individual pieces at this time. For orders consisting of multiple elements, we will make every effort in curating a selection of complementary pieces upon request.

SHIPPING & SALES TAXES

Unless otherwise specified, orders will be shipped domestically via USPS within five (5) business days of your purchase. Shipping is an additional flat fee of $10.00 per order. All orders are processed Monday-Friday excluding Holidays. Shipping charges and applicable sales tax will be applied at checkout. All orders in WA are subject to a 10.3% sales and use tax—the tax rate at our nexus in Tacoma—applied to each item in your order, including shipping charges. In lieu of shipping, you may request local pickup at our studio for all purchased orders. Local pickup is offered gratis. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to offer international shipping options.

Slush Club orders are shipped in a manner appropriate for the shipping of inherently fragile goods. Slush Club is not responsible for any delayed, lost, or stolen packages. Slush Club cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. Refunds are not issued for these reasons. Slush Club orders are packed with each piece secured and padded. However, occasionally pieces do break in transit. If you find your order has broken in transit, please contact us within two (2) business days with a photograph of the packaging and the item in the condition it arrived. Please retain all packaging materials so that we can file a claim on your behalf with our shipping carrier and swiftly get you a refund or replacement. In the event that you receive an item that is damaged please email info@slush-club.com within 2 days.

Slush Club will not be liable for any damages and/or inconvenience arising from delays not within their control of contractor in the delivery of the product ordered by client or delays caused by floods, strikes, illness, accidents, acts of god or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Slush Club.

RETURNS

Slush Club does not accept returns or exchanges, however if you have any issues with your order please let us know immediately. We want you to enjoy your experience working with us and living with our products. We are happy to answer any questions you have about an item before placing an order.
