Nerikomi Platter No. 8

$450.00

Ø 13.25” x 1.0” h. Stoneware with clear glaze interior (top) and unfinished outer surface & edge.

The widest piece we can possible fire in our kiln and part of a series of works that pushes the possibilities and scale of nerikomi. Each platter is totally unique in design, often using nerikomi remnants from other projects collaged together into complex fields reminiscent of works by Charline von Heyl, Albert Oehlen or Martin Kippenberger (reminds one of passages in his Preis series although this particular one is more vintage Paul Smith).

Our nerikomi platters are designed as centerpieces, heirloom objects and a total flex.

Several platters now available at MR.

Food-safe. Please note, due to the size of this piece we recommend hand-wash only.
