Each cup embeds trimmings from the nerikomi processes that we use to form our bowls & plates. Patterned fragments and solid clay sections are hand-pressed into a plaster mold, casting them in place; inlay patterns are visible on both interior & exterior surfaces.
Interior surface is clear-glazed while the exterior surface is left raw to enhance the experience of touching natural clay. All Slush Club objects are food-safe and dishwasher-friendly.
Please note: While our cups are formed in a plaster mold, patterns are produced in small runs and each cup is unique. Variation is to be expected (your cup may be the one pictured here but likely is just really, really similar to the picture).
