Each of our cups embeds trimmings from the nerikomi process we use to form our bowls and plates. These patterned sections are embedded into the cup walls and slip is poured into the mold, casting them in place. Patterned sections are visible on both interior and exterior surfaces.
Interior surface is clear-glazed while the exterior surface is left raw to enhance the experience of touching natural clay. All Slush Club objects are food-safe and dishwasher-friendly.
Please note, while these cups are slipcast from a plaster mold, each cup is unique and variation is to be expected.
