We never make plates, or, y’know, rarely.
With the compression and warping inherent in the stacking processes, the loss is significant. However, every once in a while—like a shooting star—one may appear without warning, against all expectation. This plate, made from fragments of patterns found elsewhere in the collection, is a true rarity and exquisite example of our processes (for Seattle restaurant cognoscenti, this is a pattern that Shannon developed for the collection in service now at Mio Oh Mio in Pioneer Square)!!
Please note, there is a raised lip (which is really great design-wise and functionally) on the edge.
